Tato Pouch

Yesterday I made a Tato pouch using a sheet of Japanese paper and a book that Dan brought me back from Japan. Often on his way back from work he stops in Japan for a couple of days.I would love to visit this fabulous country one day.In the meantime I drool over their gorgeous fabrics, paper, artworks and just the culture in general.

Here is my little Tato pouch made from beautiful printed origami paper. This is a very basic item made using minimal folds but I just love the simplicity of it.
Here are some of the other yummy papers I have to choose from.

Early morning swell check

This morning Dan and I dropped Murray off in Geelong to catch the bus to the Airport. On the way back we stopped at 'hunters' for a quick check of the surf.

The sun was just peeping over the hill at Fairhaven. And a set was starting to break at Spout Creek.Very beautiful but, very very cold!!

Victorian Winter

We are back in Lorne again catching up with family and friends.
One of the things I do miss living in Noosa is experiencing the four seasons. In Queensland there are really only two seasons. The wet and the dry!!

Next time we are down these little beauties will probably be in full bloom!!

I'm back!

Hi everyone I'm back again.
Sorry for the huge gap between posts but I am up and running again!!! Yay!!
I've been busy doing lots of stuff. But mainly crafting and my new 'thing'.....CARDMAKING.
I am having lots of fun with this and I will post some photos of my 'creations' soon.
In the meantime here is a nice photo of Little Cove I took a while ago.
