Discovered Noosa yet?

These arial photos are a great way to familiarize yourself with the area.Find the 'you are here' sign and the rest falls into place.
Although we have been here three years now there is still a lot of the area we would like to see.I would love to do the Everglades Tour advertised here.You go one way by boat and return by 4WD along 40 mile beach.
Now that the holidays are over and the river is a bit quieter, it would be a great time to do some of these trips.

Birds eye view

The seagulls here on the river have a great neighbourhood to hang out in. With plenty of action out there on the water this little guy was just content to sit and watch the world go by for a few minutes.

Choosing the right green.

These gorgeous little shoes are made entirely from folded paper.Ilove them!I am going to use them in a card I am making.
Choosing a matching or tonal green is proving a bit of a challengefor me.Maybe I should go for a complete contrast colour instead.....
I always find it hard when choosing complementary colours ,in art as well as clothes dressing.Maybe I need to have my 'colours' done by a style guru!!

Yesterday was a good day for shopping and drinking coffee in Hastings Street.It was overcast with showers for most of the day, not good for sunbaking! Coffee at Aromas is always a good alternative though.

Good Friday Sunset

Sunset last night over the Noosa River.Being Good Friday and  an extra long weekend there were lots and lots of people out enjoying the lovely evening. I took this photo on our way back from a stroll along the river at about 6pm.

Playing with Paint Shop.

It's raining here today, again ,so not good for taking photos outdoors..Instead I took a photo of these glass jars and  a vase of dahlias from the garden and played around with them on Paint Shop Pro on the computer.What do you think?
